Hi Jules quick question – do you use the microfiber cloth after the first and second cleanse? How do you dry your face off after removing your makeup?
    Thanks! I’m a big fan! 🙂

Hi Helen 🙂 After the first cleanse, I rinse my face with running warm water from the tap and then pat dry with a clean towel (use paper towel or heavy duty tissues if you’re very acneic). Then I use the face cloth (soaked in hot water and wrung out) after the second cleanse. You could use the face cloth for both though, I just like emulsifying the cleansing oil with my hands because I think it’s a bit more gentle.

Hi Jules 🙂 is there an alternative for the Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz that we can get locally that you would recommend?

I don’t know of a specific brand or product but it would be very easy to make your own. Mine is about to run out so I’m going to try this myself. All you need to do is mix pure rosewater (try health food shops or Mediterranean/Middle Eastern delis) with some glycerin (available from any pharmacy) in a spray bottle and voila!

    Hi Jules,

I’m a recent Estee Lauder Advcanced Night Repair convert. Over time it has done wonders for my skin texture as well as my pigmentation. Unfortunately I recently ran out and I live in China where beauty product are more than double the price they are at home. Would you say the Trilogy Rosehip oil would be a good enough substitute until I get my hands on more Estee Lauder?

    • Jules (author)

Hi Leanne! There aren’t any direct substitutes for ANR unfortunately; I’ve never tried anything that did the same thing. Rosehip oil is lovely and will help to address photo-ageing but the effects are a bit more limited compared to the blend of ingredients in something like ANR.

Hi, I’ve recently purchased the Pixi Glow Tonic overseas, do you know if it’s available locally?

    • Jules (author)

Hi Zahra – unfortunately we don’t know of any local Pixi stockists

  • Mel

You can purchase it on a site called Samika

  • Natasha

Is the Trilogy Rosehip Oil stocked in SA somewhere?
