I will forgive whoever named this product with the world’s longest name, but ONLY because I like it so much. I bought this after reading Tori from Kiss, Blush & Tell’s glowing review (Tori, you are my biggest enabler and I feel that you should know that). Stila bills this offering as a high-definition, age-defying beauty balm which contains innovative micro-spheres that hide skin imperfections and reduce wrinkle depth by up to 84%. It has also enriched with a particular blend of ingredients which have been shown to reduce inflammation, improve texture and stimulate collagen production. Well I don’t know about…
As you may know, Woolies recently relaunched their website, along with a snazzy new ecommerce section. We love an online store so I had a little snoop around their virtual shop window and picked my favourite products.

Each little block is a self-adhesive stencil that sticks well to your nails and lets you quickly and neatly jazz up your manicure. I put them to the test using Essie Off the Shoulder as a base and Woolworths Metallic Champagne for the accent colour. My verdict: Fab and fun! Price: R29.95 Availability: Clicks, Edgars, Dis-Chem, some pharmacies Images by me.
By the time you read this, I will freezing my perfectly pedicured toes off in London while scouring the high street for beauty bargains. I thought you might like to see what make-up I’m taking with me that pretty much comprises all my favourite and most-used products at the moment. I plan to buy more stuff than I can carry when I’m there so I’ve probably packed far more than I really need but at least I know I have all my essentials in case of any beauty emergencies! Products: Skin Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream Benefit High Beam Clinique Airbrush…
Happy Valentine’s Day, darlings! We hope you have a love-themed evening planned, whether you’re going all out with your other half or eating pizza on the couch with friends, make sure you give them an extra special squeeze and tell them you love them. That’s what it’s all about, after all – not overpriced roses and factory-made stuffed toys! For those of you headed out on the town, you’ve probably got your outfit all planned already but what about your make-up? Camilla and I are big fans of a classic red lip, especially on Valentine’s Day, although it’s not always…
