Clinique Fresh Pressed System // The Results

For the uninitiated, Vitamin C is one of the most important skincare ingredients and serves multiple purposes, including improving the overall tone and texture of the skin, slowing down the ageing process, increasing the skin’s defence against UV damage, and reducing hyperpigmentation and blemishes. For more information on the benefits of Vitamin C, and when/how to use it, you can read this post by Dr Nikolic. Clinique’s latest release, the Fresh Pressed System, harnesses the full power of Vitamin C at their highest concentration. Skin Solutions: Dry vs. Dehydrated

Dry vs. Dehydrated Skin

Until very recently, I had no idea that there was a difference between dry and dehydrated skin, and it occurred to me that many of you may not have known either. It is especially relevant going into winter, so here is my guide to telling the difference and how to address each particular concern.

Fresh & Fabulous Make-Up Tutorial

Ever woken up after a big night, looked in the mirror and wanted to scream/cry? Me too. With this in mind, I chose a particularly hungover morning to film this tutorial to show you how to make a scary face look bearable again. You’re welcome! Before you watch it, there are a few things I would like to bring to your attention: “Trusty” is my favourite word. The colour of my foundation looks completely mismatched in this video, but I assure you it’s just the lighting. In real life I didn’t look like the Oros man. I do eventually cover…

None of us need five mascaras or twelve foundations (*avoids eye contact*), but what we want them all the same. With that being said, there are certain products that are essential if you want to avoid looking like the crypt keeper – and so with that in mind,…

With that in mind I decided to put together a piece outlining the 30 best tidbits in celebration of 30 years of beauty love! This is a long post, so maybe go make yourself a cup of tea and get settled in.

Review: Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara

Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume mascara

Julia and I aren’t exactly what you would call faithful when it comes to mascara brands – we are constantly on the look out for the next best thing. My two favourites, up until now, were Maybelline Great Lash and L’Oreal Extreme Million Lashes. Julia’s was Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara. But that’s all changed…we’ve both fallen hook, line and sinker for the Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara. This mascara promises the most extreme volume (hence the name) and “wraps lashes in instant, jaw-dropping drama”. As usual, Julia and I did our reviews separately and did not consult each other.…
