I find writing long reviews of individual products quite intimidating so they tend to languish in my drafts folder for months. I find it easier to give a short overview of products I’ve tried (like in Monthly Favourites) so I’m going to try putting together posts that offer a brief idea of my thoughts on a few things, then you can just leave a comment if you want more details. A few months ago I discovered two fantastic moisturisers (namely the Vita Mineral Radiant Day Cream and Frankincense Revitalising Repair Cream) from REN and quite rightly sang their praises. I recently wrote about my experience placing an order from UK-based website ASOS, and how I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t charge me customs duties. I’m hearing conflicting reports from readers so I think it’s still quite hit and miss, but for a few small items I think it’s worth the risk, especially since the lower the value of your order, the lower the customs charges if you get nailed. Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer I bought this concealer when I was in the UK at the end of last year because I liked the Wake Me Up Foundation so much, and broke it out over the holidays when I felt it was too hot to layer corrector and concealer under my eyes.
