My Introduction to !QMS Medicosmetics

A couple of weeks ago the lovely ladies at Little Black Book PR got in touch with me to see if I would be interested in going to meet with their local !QMS Medicosmetics expert, Anel Engelke, to find out a little more about the brand and learn about how the products work. I had been wanting to try QMS for a while now as a couple of my friends use it and absolutely rave about it (you can read our friend Natalie’s post on QMS here), so I happily accepted and booked Anel’s first available appointment.

My five favourite beauty products from the month of June and mini reviews of each after the jump. Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner Sounds weird, right? Well, it is a bit weird but only because there isn’t anything else like it currently on the market (although Nivea are launching a very similar version soon). It’s basically a thick, deliciously rose-scented cream that you rub over your wet skin in the bath or shower, and then rinse off, leaving behind a very moisturising residue that keeps your skin soft and supple all day long. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer My love for Laura Mercier, and her world-famous Secret Camouflage Concealer in particular, has been well-documented. I have yet to find a concealer that does as good a job as this one does – it covers anything and everything and has the most incredible staying power, even without a setting powder (no mean feat). I’ve always been drawn to the packaging and branding of Bumble and bumble‘s products – quirky, humorous and fun, it epitomises everything that beauty should be. So I was thrilled to find the products in Boots when I visited the UK earlier this year, and particularly excited to try their famous and best-selling Surf Spray in an attempt to inject some texture into my super-soft, super-straight hair.
