Glossier! Charlotte Tilbury! Maybelline! Diptyque! The Ordinary! Find out which beauty products floated our boat last month…
So now that it’s February (!), I thought I should probably get back into blogging and what better way than to reminisce about the makeup products that lit a fire in my belly last year. Having high exposure so many new beauty goodies is a blessing and a curse – it’s amazing to be able to try so many lovely things but it can also lead to major beauty burnout. Maybelline Master Strobing Stick Illuminating Highlighter in 200 Medium* Good highlighters are unfortunately rather difficult to find at the drugstore, let alone in a subtle, creamy formula that isn’t full of chunky glitter. Luckily for me, Maybelline sent us their version so I put it to the test in a First Impressions video earlier in the year and was thrilled with the result! I’ve been using it regularly ever since but for some reason I keep forgetting to put it in my monthly favourites. The shade 200 is spot on for me – it gives the cheekbones a slightly peachy…
Dior Addict Extreme in 536 Lucky Hands down, my favourite bright lipstick of all time in my favourite formula of all time. Dior just nail it with lipstick and although frighteningly expensive, they bring me so much joy that I don’t even mind eating baked beans for a few weeks after buying one. The beauty of this is that it’s extremely buildable, so you can wear it as a sheer wash of berry-coral or build it up for a full whack of glossy, glorious colour. The colour is extremely flattering (and I think would suit a lot of skin tones),…
