Korres Haul

One of the highlights for any beauty buff visiting Greece is getting your hands on some treats from Korres, an amazing, natural skin, hair and make-up brand. Born out of Greece’s first homeopathic pharmacy, all the formulations are developed based on natural ingredients like aloe, calendula and Evening Primrose (it’s actually quite fascinating – read this). I was very excited to spot a small stand-alone store in Athens airport while waiting for a flight so I attacked it with my credit card and here’s what I bought:

By now you’ve probably all heard that Lush have opened a store in the V&A Waterfront, much to the delight of the brand’s South African fans. I used to avoid Lush when I lived in London as I always found the smell of the store really overwhelming, and I’ve heard this from a lot of other people too. The strong scents and bright colours of the products also give the impression that everything is full of nasty chemicals and synthetic ingredients.
