I bought the Body Shop Vitamin C peel yesterday – R175. I’ve only used it once, but am interested to see the effects. I found it odd that there were no instructions anywhere on how to use it? And the fact that it pills, while being termed a ‘peel’, might be alarming for those who aren’t experienced in peels as it gives the illusion that your skin is coming off! (which is probably the point ;))

Absolutely agree Jo! I’m glad you used the word “illusion” too because I think people think those flakes are your skin when actually it’s just the product coming off. I don’t personally have much faith in their exfoliating properties if I’m honest, but then again I’m used to much stronger exfoliators so maybe I’m not the target market.
