International Blog Appreciation

It’s no secret that I trawl a LOT of blogs on the daily, so I sift through a lot of information on your behalf (you’re welcome!). Whilst I’ve got a lot of love for local beauty blogs (I’m looking at you Tori, Luzanne and Chantelle), overseas beauty blogs are really what get my heart rate up – and even though a lot of the products aren’t available here, I do think that it’s important to keep informed! Here is a run-down of the articles and videos that I have been loving lately, I hope you enjoy…

Caroline Hirons

Caroline’s Cheat Sheet on sudden breakouts and what to do. Regular readers will know that Jules and I basically worship Caroline, and with good reason: she is a skincare goddess. Her Cheat Sheets are skincare gold and contain good, solid, sensible advice without any bullsh*t. If you’re not already reading her blog, I suggest you bookmark it immediately.

Tanya Burr

Tanya’s Everyday Skincare Routine. Yes, granted, you can’t get Origins or La Roche Posay here (weeps), but you can get Clarins, Lush and Clinique…do with that information what you will (hint: I’m telling you to go shopping).

Lisa Eldridge

Lisa’s Holiday Gift Ideas for Fasionistas and Mums/Aunties/Grannies – great gift inspiration for the ladies in your life.

Vivianna Does Makeup

Anna’s Luxe Christmas Beauty Gift Guide. Pure indulgence – just watch and enjoy.

I Covet Thee

Alix’s Drugstore Makeup Haul. Yes, she’s young, but my goodness she has the most incredible skin I have ever seen – I covet it (see what I did there). I also love the fact that she gets sucked in by 3-for-2 offers like the rest of us…

gh0stparties

Kate’s Autumn Beauty Picks. Although obviously our seasons are always out of sync, I still love seeing what might be coming our way next year…

Essie Button

Estee’s Top 10 Masks. This contains some of my all-time favourites (REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask and the Origins Clear Improvements Active Charcoal Mask) and some that I am still dying to try (the Aesop Parsley Seed Masque and the Aesop Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Masque).

The Beauty Department

Easy on the Eyes. I am a big fan of lining the bottom waterline with gold eyeliner – I think it’s much more subtle than black or brown, but it still gives a great effect. My favourite for this is MAC Eye Kohl in Powersurge.
