Speaking of your hair, which products do you use? I’m having such trouble with mine at the moment, it might be the change of seasons. Horrible build up underneath at the nape of my neck but dry lengths and ends. Help! I don’t want to keep using strong clarifying products as this may actually be making the problem worse.

Hi Catherine, thanks for your message. I know you don’t want to use clarifying shampoos, but I find them essential. Have you tried the Revlon Hair Cleansing Cream Shampoo (http://www.retailbox.co.za/redken-hair-cleansing-cream-shampoo-300ml.html)? I think it’s excellent – it’s definitely the most gentle clarifying shampoo I’ve ever used. It gently lifts away the build-up without stripping your hair or aggravating any existing issues. Over and above that, I have been using the Redken Body Full range for the better part of a year and I really like it – the shampoo cleans the roots without weighing them down, and the conditioner is perfectly pleasant, although not always as hydrating as I need, so I’ll use something from the Pureology Hydrate rangeif my tips are frazzled.

Hi Camilla. I already use Redken so I’ll add that to my repertoire. Thanks for your help, I’ll give that a try!
