What to buy from Max Factor

What to buy from Max Factor

I was doing a mini makeup masterclass with some friends the other day and found myself recommending products from Max Factor in nearly every makeup product category, so it got me thinking about what a beautiful and well made range the brand sells. The quality is outstanding and entirely competitive with much more expensive high-end brands, which is amazing when you consider that most of their products cost less than R200. However, this formulation is wetter than an otter’s pocket, so I found that even though the first coat went on smoothly, I wasn’t able to properly build volume with…

The Ultimate Beauty Shopping Guide: London

Best beauty shopping in London

I’ve been promising you this post for nearly a year and it’s finally here! I am lucky enough to be able to visit London roughly every six months or so, and every single time I tell myself that I’m not going to buy any more beauty products… and then I invariably spend vast amounts of money on new makeup and skincare that I definitely don’t need! In my defense, London has become a beauty mecca – the UK market is forecast to grow by 21.1% over the next five years and will be worth £27bn by 2022! Do your bit…
