DIY Tea Tree Toner | All Dolled Up

In my recent Morning Skincare Routine video, I mentioned that I use Lush’s Tea Tree Water before moisturising to make sure my skin is extra clean for the day ahead. The main ingredient is of course, tea tree oil, which is famous for its antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial properties which help to neutralise the bacteria that can cause spots. Tea tree oil has a long history of medicinal use. The practice of applying tea tree oil comes from Australia, where Aborigines have been using it as an antiseptic to treat cuts and burns for thousands of years.

I love using organic products throughout my daily life, and what I found to work with tea tree oil is apple cider vinegar!! The most amazing toner when put together! One part water, another part apple cider vinegar and a couple drops of tea tree oil (I found using pure tea tree oil will cause more breakouts)! I get random breakouts and I have been using my toner for weeks now and no spot has conquered! I also use to extra virgin olive oil at night to take off my makeup and moisturise with aloe vera gel. The bets discovery of my life yet…
