Tucked away on the ground floor of the V&A Waterfront is a little row of shops with one thing in common: gorgeous beauty products. One of these stores is Crabtree & Evelyn; once a bit of a granny brand in all honesty, it has undergone a total transformation in recent years and has become one of my favourite stores to visit for gift shopping.
Camilla and I were invited to pop in last week to see their special Christmas stock and we were, quite frankly, gobsmacked by all the gorgeous goodies on offer. Not only is the product range surprisingly extensive with a variety of products at every price point, but the packaging is the best we’ve seen this year. Their “Secret Garden” theme for this holiday season is inspired by the wonder of the undiscovered English winter garden and is a riot of colourful botanical prints. I defy you not to fall in love on the spot!
Highlights of the festive range include various hand therapy gift sets, the Noël candles, diffusers and fragrance oils (scented with fresh balsams, persimmon and spiced citrus), bath & body gift sets in all their classic fragrances, and biscuits, preserves, fudge, toffees and other confectionery all packaged in the most delightful themed tins. The store is so jam-packed with great gift ideas that we didn’t even know where to start. We highly recommend a visit if you’re on a mission for the perfect present – plus you can’t help but enjoy yourself!
